In this small village, which is 220km away from El Calafate you can do several trekking paths that will take you to the most famous Peaks from this area, such as Cerro Fitz Roy or Cerro Torre. Trekking paths have different levels of difficulty and lengths and they are self-guided. The town was built inside the National park, which is why you do not have to pay an entrance Fee. We will travel around 3 hours until we get to El Chalten. During the trip, we will make some stops to take pictures of the viewpoints: El Calafate, Parador La Leona and Glacier Viedma, which is the biggest Glacier of the National Park.
At Parador La Leona, we will make a short stop to have a coffee, tea or even try some homemade cakes.
Pick up starts at 7:30 am at your Hotel and you will arrive to El Chalten around 10:45 am. Around 18:00hs. the van will start coming back to El Calafate, arriving to town around 21:00 hs.
